Master of Philippine Couture Cary Santiago was in town to welcome Davaoeños to his 25th anniversary exhibit at Abreeza Mall. A project in partnership with the Ayala Malls, the traveling exhibit highlighting the fashion powerhouse’s intricate designs and masterful craftsmanship made its way to Ayala Center Cebu before making a stop at Abreeza Mall, and will then head to Centrio Mall in Cagayan de Oro and finally to Greenbelt in Makati.
The launch of Cary’s 25th anniversary exhibit was considered a special edition of the Abreeza Fashion Forum, a monthly convergence of fashion and lifestyle press, bloggers, designers, insiders, and enthusiasts that serves as a platform for the discussion and promotion of notable trends, projects, personalities, brands, ideas, and more. Through the Fashion Forum, Abreeza Mall hopes to nurture and spread a stronger style consciousness in Davao City with the support and collaboration of industry professionals, members of the media, and local fashion fans.
Cary Santiago’s 25th anniversary exhibit is on display at the Abreeza Mall Activity Center until November 12. That’s me posing with my favorite Cary Santiago piece. I love this one best because it has that ethereal effect, brought by the sophisticated edge cuts and textile manipulation. I also love that its color is a satin-finish muted gray, a beauty so approachable, unassuming and simply gorgeous. I’ll feel like a Greek goddess wearing this! If I actually get the chance! Maybe 1,000 more push ups, 1,000 sit ups and 1,000 squats and I’m finally worthy. 🙂
