If you know me well, you know how I love malling. In fact, I make it an excuse to “exercise”. Why, I am one of those few people who can spend eight hours straight inside a mall just walking around. And believe me, I can handle temptation well. Sometimes, I’d be just window shopping but most of the time, I’d go home with a little something. Maybe iced coffee, at the very least. Some days, I leave my credit card behind.
Before Abreeza was born, the best days of my life were spent at Chimes. Anyone would agree that Chimes was, by far, the poshest shopping center that time. They carried exclusive brands, carry the most colorful collections and most of all, the ambiance was very inviting. Who wouldn’t want to live there, right? When Abreeza came, my life changed.
Suddenly waking up meant looking forward to be in their clean, bright hallways, eating good food at their restaurants, feeling the touch of great linen and enjoying a fun Tekken game at Timezone. When I was still in Cebu, Ayala Cebu was my second home. I would spend hours there just walking around, drowning in awesome stimuli until I was tired and my legs were toned. In fact, even if I was only a truant member of the Table Tennis team in high school, everyone thought I was training hard because of how toned my legs were. Haha! (See, malling can be good for you!)
Last week, I got a sweet surprise from Abreeza. They picked around a dozen Davao-based bloggers for a shopping treat. The store assigned to me was Chimes. Needless to say, I went crazy.
As most of you know, Chimes is the exclusive distributor of several world-renowned brands. Their makeup repertoire boast of paraben-free, non-comedogenic, and organic high end merchandise such as Beaute, Senna, Guerlain, Jane Iredale and Shiseido. And then there were more affordable counterparts too–those which a lot of makeup artists and skin care enthusiasts are also raving about–NYX and Human Nature.
Other EXCLUSIVE CHIMES must-haves include these:
Five Fingers – outdoor-inclined shoes which have this special toe-mold design. They say it makes you feel like you were going to places barefoot, only not, and with better cushioning. If you are one for the outdoors and accident-prone adventures, these are the shoes for you! Price ranges from P3,000 to P6,000 only so it’s worth the investment.
Santas Home Designer Linens – I’ve always invested in rest and recreation. That is why I don’t mind spending loads for ultra comfortable and health-friendly bedsheets, mattresses and pillows. I think that for one to function well, one must also rest well. Santas Home designer linens feature high end 7-step designer bed-and-bath linens that comply with the stringent 9001:2000 ISO standard. I’ve touched the sheets….and my, they are great! Made me want to whip out my credit card but I decided to delay for Christmas instead. 😉
Then there were also designer shoes and bags: Kate Spade, Longchamp, Cambridge Michael Kors, Tory Burch and Fitflops. I think most women dream of having those. I think. Maybe to remind themselves that they are successful. Whatever. (Shit, I forgot this is not a feminist post. Anyway.)
By day’s end, I was able to take home a nice dress (pic to follow later!), sparkly eye liner, a few boxes of oil control sheets, eyelash curler, lingerie (shh!), an accessory box and Human Nature’s superawesome Sunflower beauty oil. Can’t wait for my next visit! THANKS and I love you Chimes! I love you Abreeza! *kisses* 🙂
