JoBS Academy, in partnership with AWAKE Productions, is launching its 3D Game Development training program this coming August 11, 2012. This program will run for 3 months.
The best thing about this program is that it is designed to be an “earning” project, wherein the students can “study and earn” at the same time. This special game development learning course initially costs P100,000 per student, however, 70% of the cost will be subsidized by JoBS Academy and AWAKE Productions. The output of the said program will be a game that will be marketed in the United States through the production team’s international marketing arm.
For a downpayment of only P15,000 (that’s half the total program cost after subsidy), one can get to enroll himself in this special game development program. JoBS Academy is proud to be the host facility for this special milestone. “We need to train our students based on actual projects and at the same time prepare them for the rigors of the industry standards. One major hurdle for many talented professionals is marketing their creations. Through this program, the students will learn the ins and outs of making it big in the industry—creatively and professionally”, says Mrs. Belinda Laya-Torres, President of leading creative communication and design school, JoBS Academy.
With JoBS Academy, leading this project is veteran Director-Producer-writer-3D Animator-VFX Artist, Gaudioso “Chinmaya” Relleta, Jr., a Davao-based multimedia artist who is the founder of AWAKE (Artists and Writers Aim to Kreativ Enlightenment). Under his belt is 30 years of local and international experience in directing and producing TV Commercials, TV shows, corporate videos and tourism-inclined video marketing.
Interested students can drop by JoBS Academy, LDL Bldg. Ponciano st., Davao city (in front of BDO) or call them up at 282 1470.
