I was 19 when I first fell in love with poker. That time, I also held infatuations with other card games such as Pusoy (Big 2), Black Jack and Tong its. I played like a monster. I woke up for poker and slept because I was too tired playing poker. I scheduled my days to be poker-friendly. The jobs I picked, I made sure they never get in the way of my poker-filled life. Haha. Those were the days. Don’t worry; poker that time was a business, not just a vice.
Eventually, I became more serious in my career, so I mellowed down on the poker. When I was 21, I started playing poker tournaments in the one and only card room in Davao. I also tried to love slots and Blackjack. I visited Casinos but always found it too intimidating.
Then E-games opened. My life changed.
E-Games is a digital casino. It’s like an internet cafe game room, only it has casino games loaded in the computers instead of the usual internet war games. They have Baccarat (I’m still trying to get the hang of this game), slots, Blackjack and video poker. It’s also the first PAGCOR-affiliated digital casino in Davao city, and it operates under the BigGame, Inc.’s umbrella. The superawesome technology is provided by Philweb, Inc. (www.philweb.com.ph).
To play at E-games, all you have to do is give your cash to the cashier and she will load it to your terminal of choice. You can use the credits to play the games in that terminal. You can switch terminals and still retain your balance. If you have more questions, the Gaming Assistants will be more than glad to help you out.
Moreover, here are a few good reasons why E-games rocks:
1. Ultimate privacy. Like you would enter and exit an internet cafe, you can come and leave E-games in total privacy. There, people are minding their own businesses and too busy being caught up in their own games that you won’t have to battle condescending gambling lords. All you have to do is sit down, relax, play and have a good time.
2. It’s more peaceful. If you’re not into noisy, smoke-filled gambling places and you’re more of a mellow guy and you just want to gamble in a more relaxed environment, E-games is your turf.
3. They have a wider choice of FREE drinks. Badtrip after a long series of slots losses? Want to start your Baccarat rounds with an alcoholic angel? E-games offers a wider variety of free drinks than your regular casino. Last time I was there, they offered regular beers, brandy, vodka, whisky, tequila and Destileria Limtuaco’s Paradise Mango Rum. Not bad, eh?
Aside from these, E-Games also hold Grand Players Day once or twice a year. It’s a thanksgiving night for everyone who loves E-Games as much as I do. During this night, there’s food, booze, a slots tournament and, if you’re on their good side, they might throw in surprise performances as well. For this year, MK Events and PR planned their Grand Players Day. See event link here.
The first (and only, as of this writing) E-games site is located at SJRDC Bldg., JP Laurel Avenue, Davao city. It’s beside Insular Village; situated at the exact building where BDO Lanang is. BTW, I’ve heard from the grapevine that E-games will be opening a new site downtown. Maybe along the Magallanes area. See you soon! 🙂
